Goodwood Racecourse, located in West Sussex, England, is one of the UK's most picturesque and prestigious racing venues. Known for its unique, undulating track and stunning views of the Sussex Downs, it hosts several high-profile events, including the annual Glorious Goodwood festival, now called the Qatar Goodwood Festival.

Among the notable races is the, Sussex Stakes, often referred to as The Dual On The Downs, features clashes between the best milers. A memorable race occurred in 2011 when the superstar Frankel dominated, cementing his status as one of the greatest racehorses ever. 

Another highlight is the Goodwood Cup, a key race in the British Champions Series for stayers. In 2018, Stradivarius won this race, contributing to his legendary streak of wins in top long-distance events.
